Meet Dan
Lead Web Developer

While most fathers and their sons were bonding over their shared love of football, baseball, basketball and the like, I connected with my dad over building computers, troubleshooting software, and exploring this new thing called the “World Wide Web”.
Despite my fascination with all things computers, I decided to focus my more formative years on learning how to work with, understand, and help people learn. To this end, I became a teacher; this journey took me all across the world, to countries such as South Korea and Mexico, and in doing so, I made it my mission to learn all about social interaction and leadership. What motivates people? How do people learn? What makes people feel heard and understood? I wanted to answer all of these questions in every country in which I lived.
While I spent most of my time teaching and coaching, I was still so intrigued by web development and software engineering. When the pandemic hit, I was able to pivot and enroll in a fullstack software development bootcamp. I then spent the past four years developing internet marketing websites for hundreds of clients.
For almost half a decade, I honed my skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, developing an eye that can spot even the smallest of errors.
It is my mission to combine my people skills with my technical acumen to develop a professional website that is true to your branding, having fun along the way!

My Work Philosophy
I have a certain nack for taking complex, technical topics and breaking them down into managable, easy to comprehned ideas and frameworks. While the landscape of marketing is always changing with the advent of the latest and greatest technology, I am able to distill the essence of these concepts and explain to you how it will affect your business.
I am often found planning things out with a pen and paper, because I often find that sometimes the simplest approach is the best. While I do strive to stay up to date on the latest trends in the web development and technology space, the first thing that I often ask myself is, “is this necessary?”. Once the fundamental elements are in place, I then move on to implementing the latest bells and whistles.

Beyond My Screen
When I’m not working on your web design, you’ll find me:
- Doing AcroYoga
- Tending to my house plants
- Taking a good walk
- Lifting weights at the gym
These are just a few of the different activities that I use to escape and recharge for a bit; they often bring about answers to my web development challenges.
