Julie’s passion for editing comes out of her love of reading good books, especially the classics. Writing is an art that should be treasured, preserved, and passed down for future generations.
Good writing has the power to form beliefs, which in turn form good character. We must hold on to our rich history of literature and thought so that society and the individuals that make up that society may flourish.
Julie shares this passion with her husband, who teaches philosophy at Columbia International University in South Carolina.
Together they homeschool their three children with the hopes of passing on this love for the Arts and Humanities.
“Books are the carriers of civilization. Without books, history is silent, literature dumb, science crippled, thought and speculation at a standstill.“ – Henry David Thoreau
